                                                               March 2019

February 25-28 Campout News:

Campout was held at American RV in Corsicana, TX.  We had 11 rigs.  Those camping were:

H. L. and Mary Langston
Ray and Shirley Hamilton
Kenneth and Betty RIchey
James and Sandra Ledford
Derrell and Wilma Clark
Shirley Coon
Tom and Nell Bills
Dennis and Linda Moser
Mitch and Ruth Howell
Kenneth and Paula Hogg
Willie Holcombe and Susie Chiles

We were pleased to have H. L and Mary’s friends, Carolyn Dettor and Gaile Nivens visit with us on Tuesday for lunch and games. We had two tables of “Hand & Foot” going on most of the time, a table of “80” for the men, an occasional game of “Rummikub” and a new game of “Sequence”.

We missed our other members due to illness or other issues & hope to see them at our March campout:

James & Margaret Taylor our prayers go out to them during this post op rehabilitation time for James.

Jerry & Brenda Scott our prayers for Brenda who was admitted into the hospital.

Ben & Angela Starr our prayers for Ben who is still having issues with his shoulder, leg and dentures.
Dewey and Ruth Ashworth had a lot going on and couldn’t attend the camp out.
Herb and Joann Richardson were unable to attend.
Darrell & Wanda Underwood were unable to attend.

We were disappointed that American RV has not performed any of the much needed repairs on the community building and feel they have had sufficient time to at least start some of the repairs. We will no longer have our campouts at American RV in Corsicana, TX. Our Wagon Master, H. L. will find a different location for our April campout.

We went out to eat at Sirloin Stockade after our business meeting.  They have buffet so everyone is always able to find something they enjoy eating.  We returned to community building & played more games and lots of good fellowship with our friends and members.

Hope to see you at our next campout in Grand Saline, TX at Bedrock RV.  Don’t forget our State Rally in Waco starts the same week of this campout.  Everyone, especially our officers are encouraged to attend.
